MapleSeed was founded by Benoit Moreau, PhD in 2025 to help early-stage companies, biotech and CROs with their needs in drug discovery. Benoit worked for over 17 years as a medicinal chemist and scientific leader in pharma and biotech, successfully initiating drug discovery programs on early platforms, working collaboratively within multi-disciplinary teams, making several key design contributions and leading project teams to the identification of development candidates across multiple therapeutic areas. He has built strong internal medicinal chemistry teams and managed efficiently large external chemistry teams at CROs in Asia, North America and Europe.
